Exploring Juvenile and Young Adult Offender Challenges at CEP Workshop in Barcelona

The Global Initiative, represented by Terre des hommes foundation, participated in the CEP Workshop on Juveniles and Young Adult Offenders in Barcelona.

The workshop, led by Confederation of European Probation (CEP), focused on supporting young offenders from a probation standpoint. It brought together probation officers, criminal justice experts, and individuals with firsthand experiences as offenders and victims.

Cédric Foussard, coordinator of the Global Initiative delivered a presentation on "Child Justice in Europe," emphasising international standards for child detention and the need to uphold children's rights in criminal proceedings.

The Global Initiative appreciated the opportunity to contribute alongside other experts towards impactful approaches in this field.
